2K Games EVOLVE

Bringing Digital Characters into the Physical World

Project Description

Our team was thrilled to win the opportunity to work on Evolve, a next-generation title from 2K Games and Turtle Rock Studios, the creators of Left 4 Dead. The scope was ambitious: we were tasked with designing the Game Informer cover, producing the reveal trailer, subsequent video content, developing DLC assets, and creating a second-screen experience. One of the most exciting elements for me was the resurrection of a 3D printing concept I had originally proposed on a prior project (The Bureau). This time, it gained full traction. For the first time, we brought video game assets into the physical world, allowing fans to download and 3D print the four main characters and the monster, or order them through platforms like Shapeways and Thingiverse.

This project was a true team triumph. With the visionary leadership of Alastair Green (Executive Creative Director), Kevin Shuster (Executive Producer), and Davide Vismara (Art Director), our campaign earned major industry recognition, including the E3 Gold Award for Best Product Announcement and the 2014 Video Game Marketing Award for Standout Ad Campaign. I’m proud that our work not only pushed boundaries but also made a small mark on video game history.
